Super creative title, Right (insert sarcasm here)...I'll work on my originality.
I've been toying with creating a blog for quite some time and I'm currently doing it without broadcasting my decision to everyone. I asked my husband about it a few months back. The conversation went something like this. "I've been thinking about writing a blog." Husband: "Like everyone else?" Bummer! I've never wanted to be a follower, buttttttt here I am...trying to get followers.
I've been reading a lot of Kate's advice over at www.thesmallthingsblog.com and I know my blog needs a PURPOSE. I want to blog about life, how its wonderful, scary, hard, and unpredictable. I'd like to write about things that piss me off and make me laugh. I don't want to post mushy gushy crap about my kid all the time or how I'm the perfect housewife (insert disgusted scoff here). I'm not here to bitch and complain. I just think someone else might laugh at my imperfections. And for now, I'll set my sights high...hoping that ONE person laughs at me.
Did I mention that growing up is hard?!? Facing big decisions and wish I could just curl up in my mom's lap and watch cartoons. Here's to hoping I don't break her legs!
